A Vote For The Establishment Is A Vote For Genocide

On Friday the 19th of April, PalesTyne held a public discussion titled “A Vote For The Establishment Is A Vote For Genocide”. Hosted by Mehru-Nisa Shah, the event highlighted the importance of our votes and how they can impact worldly matters, with a focus on the ongoing Genocide in Palestine. George Galloway MP highlighted the double standards in the history of the ongoing establishment, as well as future potential establishments. Mr Galloway was joined by Dr Yvonne Ridley and Mr Arshad Ali.

In a surprise move, Newcastle Councillor Shumel Rahman announced his resignation from the Labour party. His decision was undoubtedly met with support and applause, highlighting the evening’s central message: the power of individual actions in the broader fight for justice. As the talks continued, each speaker urged the attendees to think critically about the real-world implications of their votes, in both national and international matters.
